Northern Gateway

Northern Gateway will be Greater Manchester’s biggest and most significant proposed employment development. It will drive jobs and investment in the northern boroughs, supporting a rebalancing of the city region’s economy.

Set within the Atom Valley Mayoral Development Zone, Northern Gateway is allocated in the Places for Everyone (PfE) joint development plan and is set to create a dynamic and nationally significant employment destination.

We have submitted an outline planning application to Bury and Rochdale Councils for the first phase of the Northern Gateway employment site. Following validation of the application submission, we will update the website with a planning application reference number to enable you to view the application documents in full.
